The real meaning behind this card is not one of physical death and the Rainbow Travellers Tarot transformed this card into the "Death/Rebirth" card, and an image of a Phoenix, to represent the potential for something beautiful to be born out of an ending. This card invites us to consider that while change in life is difficult, new opportunities are born of that experience. By understanding our reactions to events and circumstances we can move from a place of confusion or frustration to acceptance and understanding.

The Rainbow Travellers Tarot deck can be used by both novice and advanced readers. Although the cards have connections to traditional interpretations, each card has strong characters and imagery that lend to a more intuitive approach to the tarot. I believe that sometimes we need a guide or a tool that can help us in this journey of life, and the cards encourage you look below the surface and examine more deeply where you really are and what you are truly doing to live the life you have always wanted.

The first printing of the Rainbow Travellers Tarot is a limited edition print run of 300 decks. The cards and guidebook were printed locally so that I could be part of the process from beginning to end, and so that the work would stay with local companies and businesses. I couldn't have been happier with the final results. The cards are easy to handle, and the printers have faithfully reproduced the colours and details of my original artwork. This limited edition deck comes with a lined handmade tarot bag (sewn by my daughter who is a stay-at-home mom), a 48-page illustrated guidebook, and a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. It is 100% Canadian made in the Cowichan Valley, on Vancouver Island and online orders are now seeing the deck being shipped in Canada and internationally to the US, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.

Creating this deck has been an exciting journey of self-discovery and an amazing learning experience. The Rainbow Travellers Tarot is a labour of love that germinated many years ago and I am so excited to now share the results with everyone. It just keeps getting better and better! I never expected that once I finished creating the deck that it would continue to open up a whole new world for me. Daily I am thrilled to meet other tarot enthusiasts that share a passion and deep commitment for helping others. My clients touch my life profoundly and I am so grateful to be part of their journey. My cards, which have become like my children continue to find their own voice and share new and stirring insights into the human experience awakening the potential for a life of fulfilment in all areas of our existence connecting mind, body, heart and soul.
