It was a couple of years ago the first time I heard the term "Steampunk" ever used, and was immediately intrigued. It's two words "Steam Punk" that I would never have thought to be smushed together. Then, after looking it up online, I discover that I am somewhat familiar with the "genre", I just didn't realize that it had its own name, let alone a very large following.
