ATLAS GIVES BACK WITH TWO BENEFIT CONCERTS
The Atlas Foundation donated $ 10,000 to Child & Family Service ( CFS ) and $ 10,000 to Hale Makua Health Services during two virtual benefit concerts at the historic Hawaii Theatre . In April , Grammy nominee and Nā Hōkū Hanohano winner Josh Tatofi serenaded Atlas team members , their families , and our partners at CFS . In June , Nā Hōkū Hanohano awardwinning family band Kapena lit up the stage playing classic throwbacks and new hits for the Atlas Ohana and our friends at Hale Makua Health Services .
HUGS FOOD DONATION
Atlas AOAO Account Executive Elaine Panlilio organized a Food Drive benefiting the nonprofit organization Help , Understanding & Group Support ( HUGS ) Hawaii ! The Atlas Ohana collected nonperishable foods , monetary donations , and toiletry items for Hawaii ’ s seriously ill children and their families .

CELEBRATING OUR BEST PLACES TO WORK AWARD ! To thank our employees for participating in the Best Places to Work survey , we treated the entire team to a Door Dash lunch ! We gave awards to those who ordered the Strangest Dish , Dish with the Most Special Requests , and Cheapest Eats . We are proud to be named one of Hawaii Business Magazine ’ s Best Places to Work for the 13th year and appreciate our employees who make Atlas Insurance such an amazing place to work !
THE FIRST ANNUAL ATLAS DUNDIES AWARD CEREMONY
The Office Activities Committee hosted the first annual Atlas Dundies Awards pizza party this summer ! Award categories included the Gremlin Award ( for the person most likely to call IT ), the Muted Award ( for the person most likely to talk while muted ), the Hangry Award ( for the person most likely to eat during video calls ), and the Multi- Monitor Award ( for the person most likely to look at the wrong screen while talking ). Staff members also received custom Atlas-branded HEAD sports backpacks . In the words of Michael Scott , “ You have won a tiny Dundie .”
OPERATION GRATITUDE FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
In honor of Independence Day , the Office Activities Committee organized a letter-writing campaign for our first responders and military personnel through Operation Gratitude ! Staff members who wrote letters received a fresh KC Waffle dog made to order in our lunchroom . We collected 50 + cards that will be sent to our first responders and active military members !
