Aloha!
Our roots in Hawaii go as far back as 1929 when Atlas Insurance
Agency was initially founded with the intention of helping
underserved communities. Through our founder, Masayuki
Tokioka, a community-oriented vision has been at the heart of
our company culture and endeavors ever since.
While we believe in supporting the community, it is also our
philosophy to partner with our clients in order to help them
further their own goals. That is why we are proud to say Atlas
Insurance Agency represents 44 percent of Hawaii’s largest
nonprofit organizations, according to the 2016-2017 PBN Book
of Lists.
Our support of community-focused organizations is relentless.
Whether we’re selling newspapers on the corner of Bishop
Street for PACT Keiki Day, teaching kids to be entrepreneurs
by building a lemonade stand, or walking in the Men’s March
Against Domestic Violence, we’re there for Hawaii’s nonprofit
fundraisers and charities.
Over the last ten years, our Atlas Insurance Foundation has
contributed over $1.2 million to state-related causes and over
$5.5 million to not-for-profit organizations across the islands.
We at Atlas Insurance Agency see ourselves as a local company
and want to support everything we can in our communities.
