personnel and neighbor island staff
battled it out on several fronts: overall
point totals and best dressed team. The
annual event is a fun and inclusive way

Passionate About Giving Back
VALENTINE’S DAY EVENT
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Office
Activities Committee serenaded the staff with sappy
love music and showered them with love using
sweets like cupcakes, cookies, and candy to set
the mood.
GREAT ALOHA RUN
As part of a HEART (Healthy Employees Achieve
Results Together) Committee initiative, staff came
out for the Great Aloha Run and had a great start to
a healthy year!
MLK KUPU DAY
Recognized as a national day of service,
Martin Luther King Jr. Day offered One
Atlas the opportunity to malama ka ‘aina
and take part in caring for the trails near
Diamond Head.
ZIPPY’S CHALLENGE
The second Annual Zippy’s Wellness Challenge
is a chance for companies to participate and
demonstrate their commitment to healthy living
and community service. Participation included
volunteering, monetary & non-monetary support
of charities/non-profits which culminates in a gala
event for all participating companies.
DTRIC’S “DRIVE ALOHA” CAMPAIGN
Our Atlas Hilo Office, along with other volunteers,
waved at the “traffic” on Waianuenue Ave. fronting
Hilo Intermediate School. The campaign supports
raising public awareness to promote safe driving and
encourages driving the aloha way.
