I could focus on study after training sessions which required me to drive 4 hours to train with my coach . Athletics is my priority , I don ' t put anything ahead of it .. While my friends were off enjoying Summer music festivals , I spent two weeks completing altitude training . These experiences and beliefs will be invaluable in my transition into life as an American college student ”

This made me really understand numerous different cultures . As a result of hosting international students , I have gained a greater understanding of many different cultures and an in-depth knowledge of and an interest in various cultures . Having these life experiences will help me adjust to life in another country ”
