Student's thoughts
Raquel Alonso Alvárez & Soraya García Salgado. 1º CSHU B
This week, we have an interesting interview, about what teenagers want to do with their future. We've talked with a student of Bachillerato of our high school.
We asked her about her goals and she said that she wants to pass with good grades and go to university; she wants to go to uni because she would love to go abroad and live an ERASMUS experience to improve her English.
We also asked her about what she thinks she is going to be doing in ten years’ time and we didn't expect her answer. She said that she wants to work as a volunteer in a country, but no in her homeland, but in another one, like South America. We talked about the perfect job too, and she said that she wouldn’t mind leaving the money aside and the comfort provided by the jobs people can find in a big city. She also said that she only wants to work helping people, because it would be a rewarding esperience. She even told us that if she had the chance, she would not want to be anyone else, just who she is now, she's happy with her life.
This interview could help skeptics who think that teenagers are selfish, and realize that there are some people that have future plans.
