A MOVIE TIMELINE OF MY LIFE by Pat Frickey

For many of us, songs may trigger vivid memories and take us back in time, like a personal time machine. For me, it is movies. When the call for Currents came,“ everyday cinema and its place in our lives,” it took me no time at all to measure out my life, not in coffee spoons, nor songs, but in films.
1951— Pals of the Golden West Roy Rogers( First film I ever saw, age six, with my sister and parents, Salem, Oregon.)

1953— Shane( Film watched with my family, far from home, in Radio City Music Hall, New York City.)
