TWIN LAKES HOME BUILDERS SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT Matt Johnson (Glazer’s) and Heather Hendricks (TLHB) were able to present a scholarship for the Spring 2018 semester to Palmira Dixon, a nursing student at ASUMH. The 22nd annual Twin Lakes Home Builders Scholarship Golf Tour- nament was held September 22 at Big Creek Golf and Country Club. The team of Andrew Gillespie, Kirk Brown and John Campbell rep- resented Glazer’s Distribution as they won the Championship Flight with a 15-under-par 57. Dave Butterfield, D.J. Butterfield and Brad Henderson of David’s Golf finished second as they were just one stroke back, and Nathan Criss, Brandon Barnes and Nevin Barnes of Centennial Bank were third with an 11-under-par 61. Eric Lunnen, Spencer Adams and David McBee of Arvest Bank took the A Flight with a seven-under-par 65. There was a three-way tie for second between Scott Copeland, Michael Skinner and Brad Schulz of Integrity First Bank; Chris Hickman, Micah Wells and Hulen Wilhite of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative and Brad Elbrader, Terry Stobaugh and Isaac Gaston of Brad’s Home Entertainment Service all finished at six-under-par 66. Scott Sellars, Scott Estes and Bryan Head of FNBC took the C Flight with a two-under-par 70. Steve Dunn, Jerry Jones and Mike Heslep of First Community Bank finished tied with Stacey Freeman, Adam Burk and John Moody of NAEC for second as both teams had a one- under-par 71. LOCAL PEO SISTERHOOD CHAPTER FUNDS SCHOLARSHIP AT ASUMH   Photo (left to right) : Caroline Carroll, Dr. Robin Myers and Cynthia Dalrymple   A recent donation of $1,000 by PEO Sisterhood Chapter DO was recently present- ed to Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) Chancellor Dr. Robin Myers by club officers Caroline Carroll and Cynthia Dalrymple. The donation, which will be added to the ASUMH General Scholarship Fund, is designated for full-time female students seeking any degree from ASU-Mountai n Home. The scholarship is open to entering freshmen with a high school diploma from Baxter or Marion counties. Students must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher to be eligible to receive the scholarship.
