Student Activities
As part of the ASU Prep experience, we encourage all of our students to explore future majors and career paths through internships in areas of interest to them, capstone projects, community service or clubs and organizations.
Community Collaborations and Support
• ASU Prep student-led NewTrition program partnered with the Mollen Foundation to start a farm-to-table program.
• Cox Charities supported ASU Prep STEM projects through the Summer Bridge Programs.
• Freeport McMoRan donated $ 3,500 for student backpacks and uniforms.
Cultural Experiences
• The Phoenix Symphony offered music education classes to ASU Prep Phoenix families.
• Phoenix Art Museum provided space for a gallery show of student artwork.
• The Arizona Science Center hosted ASU Prep Family Science Night – a special free evening for ASU Prep families featuring ASU Prep students’ science projects on display.
• The Musical Instrument Museum hosted an ASU Prep Performance Night and class field trip experiences.
Student Awards and Recognition
• ASU Prep Phoenix Engineering Projects in Community Service( EPICS) students were awarded a community service award from ASU’ s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.
• The ASU Prep Phoenix Varsity Spirit Line competed in the Starz Universal cheer and dance competition and walked away with first place for the second consecutive year.
• ASU Prep freshman Bruno Rergis received first place in Chinese languages fair competition at ASU.
