ASU Student Partnerships
• University Service Learning Interns served in different roles on campus.
• SPARKS students provided mentorship to students in the after-school homework club.
• ASU college students and ASU Prep hosted P. O. W. W. O. W.( Produce on Wheels Without Waste) for the community.
• Prep-to-College Mentoring Program, a service project by Alpha Upsilon Alpha, ASU’ s Chapter of the International Literacy Association’ s Honor Society, provided mentoring to ASU Prep graduates and presented college transition workshops to all ASU Prep Phoenix senior Capstone students.
• iTeach students from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College embedded in various ASU Prep classrooms.
ASU Outreach Partnerships
• ASU Gardening partnered with fifth- and sixth-grade students in Science courses.
• In collaboration with Educational Outreach and Student Services, ASU Prep hosted a college information evening with an Arizona Congressman.
• ASU Prep was selected by Spirit of Service scholars to participate in a year-long project, and week-long summer summit on leadership.
• ASU Career Services added Academic Apprenticeship placements within Career Services and other departments for ASU Prep juniors and seniors.
• ASU Prep students participated in academic apprenticeships with more than 2 dozen ASU partners.
• Students participated in ASU Project Humanities’ Hack-a-thon for Social Justice.
