AmpliVox’s Radio Hailer communication system
connects to two 2-watt MURS radios. One radio
acts as the receiver, the other as the transmitter.
The Radio Hailer includes a 50-watt amplifier; the
11” horn speaker delivers 108 dB of clear sound
audible over any background noise, as well as a
120dB warning siren.
In addition to the radios, users can connect to the
amp through wireless microphones or wired mics,
available as options.

The Radio Hailer has a battery life of up to 200
hours on 10 D-cell alkaline batteries, or can be
powered by optional NiCad batteries. A line-out
jack allows the amplifier to connect to a recording
device for repetitive instructions and warnings.
Tripods, a carrying case and speakers are optional.

The Radio Hailer was developed for a multinational financial services firm that wanted to improve
disaster preparedness at multiple sites in the New
York City area.
