a free mobile app for all Milestone products
Milestone Mobile is a free application for Apple®,
Android™ and Windows Phone 8 devices that allows users to view video instantly from their mobile
device.
It works with all XProtect® video management
software (VMS), Milestone Husky™ NVRs and the
Milestone Arcus™ platform via Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G
connections.
With Milestone Mobile, users can access their security video from anywhere and extend the reach
of their surveillance by capturing live video and
transmitting it to operators in a central monitoring
station. Milestone Mobile 2016 is available in 29
different languages.

Milestone Mobile 2016 includes push notifications
Push notifications is an alert delivered directly by
the XProtect VMS system to a mobile device with
the Milestone Mobile 2016 app installed. Push notifications will be delivered to the smart device based
on alarms pre-defined in the XProtect VMS whether Milestone Mobile is running or not.
This gives customers the freedom to go about their
day knowing that, if something should happen, their
security system will let them know.
Push notifications also paves the way for improved
communication and cooperation between a control
room dispatcher and a patrolling guard, since push
notifications can be received by one user and then
manually assigned to a different user.
Milestone Smart Connect
Milestone Mobile 2016 also introduces Smart Connect, an easy, reliable set-up process that enables
system integrators at all skill levels to successfully
deliver a remote viewing soluti on to their customers.
