CO DMV Selects Turnkey Driver License

Marquis ID Systems (MIDS), a Gemalto Company,
was awarded a six year contract by the Colorado
Department of Revenue’s Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to provide a turnkey driver license and
identification (DL/ID) card production system.

As driver license identity fraud is a continuing concern, Colorado is bringing its citizens one of the
industry’s most secure credentials: polycarbonate
technology allows the images and the text to be laser engraved into the card body. With Sealys Window Lock, the card also contains a secondary card
holder portrait in a see-through window, making it
virtually impossible to counterfeit or compromise.
