tomizable P.A. & Mass Notification System,
has been nominated to compete in the 2017
‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards pro-
gram.
Powered by LRAD’s XL Driver Technology for
Greater Area Coverage
The LRAD DS-60XL incorporates LRAD’s indus-
try-leading vocal clarity in a smaller form factor
for remotely operated public address and life
safety communications.
Powered by LRAD’s proprietary XL driver tech-
nology and optimized to the 400 Hz – 7 kHz
range to ensure every broadcast is clearly heard
and understood, the LRAD DS-60XL has a 60°
900-meter range.
The LRAD DS-60 is modular enabling 60° to
360° broadcasts. When configured in a 360°
ring array, the broadcast coverage area ex-
tends to 2.5 sq. kilometers.
The LRAD DS-60XL substantially exceeds all
FEMA and UFC voice intelligibility requirements
and offers the most flexible area coverage in the
mass notification industry.
