In April, a new open authentication standard,
FIDO2, was released by the FIDO Alliance and ac-
cepted by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
as the leading standard for simple,
secure account login and data pro-
tection.
The Security Key by Yubico delivers FIDO2 and FIDO U2F in a
single device, supporting existing U2F two-factor authentica-
tion (2FA) as well as future FIDO2 passwordless implementa-
tions.
