Last December’s Associations Congress
UK, was attended by 241 association
executives and event managers and one
in a portfolio of 15 events organised for
this vital part of the MICE sector by the
Associations Network (partnering in
the Confex Association Events Forum
this month). The Congress has grown
by 60% in two years, and is a vivid
illustration of the sector’s importance to
the UK meetings industry.
Our blue ribband convention centres
certainly put association business at the
top of their marketing agendas and it is
the benchmark on which cities stand or
fall in the ICCA rankings.
In this inaugural issue of AEM
