God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy
the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us.
EPHESIANS 2:4 AMP

“…Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the
Egyptians…”

“Then sang Moses and the children of Israel

this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the
Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider
hath he thrown into the sea” Exodus 14:31, 15:1 KJV

As we pray, we must not neglect to humbly look to God for
mercy. Yes, we must enter His presence with bold confidence

in the blood of Jesus, but as we enter into His holy dwelling,

we are humbled before a ‘mercy seat’ that has been sprinkled
with the blood of Jesus. Every moment of enjoyment, of freedom, of victory, of blessing that we continue to receive from
God is because that blood still allows mercy to be released
to us.

morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath
provided - Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Finally, how delightful that we find this following scripture
about mercy in the gloomy lamentations of Jeremiah.

“God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love

couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning.

How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over
and over). He’s all I’ve got left.” Lamentations 3:21-24, MSG
May God’s grace, peace and mercy be multiplied unto you.

As we experience new mercies, let us sing the words of
James Fillmore’s verse written over 100 years ago;
