Dale Henwood President of the ASPC Building leaders in your organisation Dale Henwood has been the President and CEO of the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary (CSI Calgary) since its establishment in April 1994. In this role he is the corporate communicator (internal and external), decision-maker (including vision, policy and strategy), leader and manager. He received a Bachelor of Physical Education degree, a teaching diploma and a Masters degree from the University of Alberta as well as an MBA from the University of Calgary. Over the past 40 years, he has been an ice hockey coach at the college, university, national team and Olympic level (3 Olympics) and a senior sport leader in the provincial and Canadian sport system as well as internationally. He has been involved in sport at all levels, as a participant, as a community volunteer, as a coach and as a sport administrator. Supporting Dale’s professional responsibilities is his ongoing involvement in church activities and community service. He has held a variety of volunteer roles, and often serves in a leadership position on the Board of Directors. Dale and his wife Barbara reside in Calgary, have a son Jeff (wife Robyn) and a daughter Laura (husband Scott) and a grandson Kaden.
