When looking at the definition of ‘street style’ on the internet many different meanings emerge. Many from magazine editors telling us about the latest ‘street style trend’ or 'how to do street style’.
The most accurate definition I found was on the very first link- brace yourselves- Wikipedia. Wikipedia describes street style as the following 'Street style is fashion that is considered to have emerged not from studios, but from the grassroots. Street fashion is generally associated with youth culture, and is most often seen in major urban centers.
Magazines and Newspapers like the New York Times and Elle commonly feature candid photographs of individuals wearing urban, stylish clothing.’
When talking to Aaron about colour choices and styling himself, he told us that the main look he works for is the 'edgy' yet stylish look. Styling himself modeled on celebrities such as Robert Pattinson, A$AP Rocky and Kanye West. "Through social media nowerdays we are able to create outfits we like online and get inspiration from other people. I'm an avid twitter user and through that i am able to follow accounts like asos and different fashion houses to keep up with the latest changing trends."
The look which he's wearing today is mainly made up of ASOS and Topshop's clothing ranges, due to his height only being 5ft 11" Aaron is knowledgable about his body shape and by wearing all black he is elongating his body, making him look taller.
