The venue produces its own energy from a combination of food and agricultural waste from the venue and surrounding areas . This waste is processed in an anaerobic digestion plant , and the gases produced are transferred to the hydrogen fuel cell plant . The combination of these , in turn , produce hydrogen as a by-product which provides all the heating , cooling and power for P & J Live and the two on-site hotels , a continuous loop that guarantees a bright future .
