Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra
Shilpa Shetty is an Indian film actress and model, best known for winning the British TV show
‘Celebrity Big Brother 5’ in 2007, following an international racism controversy involving her
and fellow contestants. Prior to Big Brother she had appeared in nearly 40 Bollywood, Tamil,
Telugu and Kannada films including her debut in the film Baazigar (1993) and her first leading
role in the 1994 film Aag. In August 2008, Shetty hosted the second season of Bigg Boss, the
Indian version of Big Brother. She married Raj Kundra in 2009.

Raj Kundra is a British Indian businessman who also has interests in both cricket and mixed
martial arts. As of 2009, Raj was Chief Executive Officer of Essential General Trading LLC, a
Dubai-based international trading company dealing in precious metals, construction, mining
and green renewable energy projects. He & Shilpa have also invested in the Indian Premier
League cricket team Rajasthan Royals. Raj and Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt together launched
India’s first professionally organized mixed martial arts fighting league - the Super Fight League
- on 16 January 2012.
