Ramesh & Pratibha Sachdev
Ramesh Sachdev came to the UK from from Kenya in 1965 and qualified as a chartered
accountant, a profession he successfully pursued for several years. In 1987, he and his wife
Pratibha Sachdev, formed the Nursing Home Company Life Style Care Plc, and Ramesh assumed
the role of Managing Director. Since 1987 Life Style Care Plc has built and operated a total of
over 50 Care Homes and is one of the UK’s leading care home operators. The Sunday Times Rich
List 2013 puts their combined net worth at about £400 million.

Pratibha Sachdev helped to set up the Sachdev family foundation – God My Silent Partner
(GMSP) – which the women in the family are involved in. The Foundation has embarked on an
programme that includes micro-financing in Gujarat, India.

Bally Sagoo
Bally Sagoo & Sita Pall, affectionately known as the “Posh & Becks” of the British Asian music
industry, were married in 2004 at a lavish wedding ceremony in Oxfordshire that saw singer
Gunjan perform. Baljit Singh “Bally” Sagoo is a British-Indian record producer. Born in Delhi,
India, he was raised from an early age in Birmingham spending most of his college years
producing mix-tapes for friends and dee-jaying at local events. In 1994, Sagoo signed with
Sony Records to produce Bollywood Flashback. He became the first Indian artist to be play
listed on national mainstream radio when the album track “Chura Liya” (a re-working of Asha
Bhosle’s song) was played on the BBC Radio 1. In 1999, Bally launched his own UK music label,
Ishq Records with Sita Pall dealing with much of the business side of the label. Bally’s music has
featured in Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding (2001), Gurinder Chadha’s hit Bend It Like Beckham
(2002), Mistress of Spices (2006) and It’s a Wonderful Afterlife (2010). In 2012, Sagoo completed
the installation of a new studio in Mumbai, and now splits his time between the UK and India.
The same year saw the merger of the business assets of Ishq Records into Fresh Dope Records,
which also released Future Shock, Bally’s latest album in February 2013.
Paul Sagoo & Kiran Sharma
Paul Sagoo is a British born Indian investor and entrepreneur. He is CEO of the Lemon Group,
a UK-based investment company, and Founder of the Asian Awards. He is also Chairman at
Luxury Connect Ltd, a full-service marketing agency working exclusively for luxury brands and
is also trustee of I Love Love a UK registered charity. He has a Bachelors degree in physiology
from King’s College, London.

Kiran Sharma is the Managing Director of KIKIT Entertainment, a leading artist management
company and she is also the manager of global icon and superstar, Prince. Since launching
KIKIT in 2005, Kiran has established it as one of the industry’s most important resources for
artist booking, working with stars like Bryan Ferry, AR Rahman, Sonu Niigaam and Annie
Lennox. Kiran was born in Luton and grew up in Norwich. She studied Engineering and Business
Systems & Technology and did a conversion year majoring in Business and Marketing. Kiran is a
Trustee of Arms Around The Child and works closely with Save the Children, Keep a Child Alive
and ARK.
