Priya Lakhani & Rahul Bakrania
Priya Lakhani is best-known as the founder of Masala Masala which creates authentic Indian
cooking sauces that are stocked in the chilled cabinet. Priya who grew up in Altrincham in
Cheshire, initially trained as a lawyer before giving up her career to launch the food brand. She
now lives in London with husband Rahul Bakrania and focuses on social enterprise including
Brands Giving Back Charity SOCO.
Rahul Bakrania has a BSc degree in Mathematics & Economics from the University of Leeds
and an MSc in Finance & Economics from the London School of Economics. He started his
career at UBS Investment Bank before becoming Chief Operating Officer at Marquis Jet Europe
which was sold later to NetJets Europe. He is now Chief Operating Officer at WPSChallenger,
a venture fund focusing on early stage and growth opportunities in digital media, technology
and entertainment.
Divia Lalvani & Joel Cadbury
Divia Lalvani is the daughter of Binatone founder Gulu Lalvani. Born In London but educated at
Babson Business College in the US, her first foray into the food business was pushing sandwiches
at the stylish Dean & DeLuca delicatessen in New York. Back in London, she scrubbed floors at
Pret A Manger before she set up Bonsai, an Oriental party-food caterer. However it was when
she with Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney launched Zuma, the Japanese restaurant, in London
in 2001 that she found her forte. After selling her stake in Zuma in 2003, she now concentrates
on her range of Divia teas and the development of the Royal Phuket Marina in Thailand, with
her father. She married Joel Cadbury in 2006.

Joel Cadbury is an English entrepreneur & philanthropist and heir to the Cadbury chocolate
dynasty. Joel Cadbury is best known as Founder & Chief Executive of Longshot Limited and
alongside his partner, Ollie Vigors, they have built up a company that develops a wide range of
property and leisure businesses across central London. Following the sale of these businesses
in 2007 for in excess of £50 million, Joel made numerous investments into entrepreneurial
businesses in the UK, three of which he continues to serve as a Non-Executive Director.
Cadbury is also committed to philanthropic work, most notably as the Chairman of The Royal
Parks Foundation. He is also a Patron of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) and
Trustee of UnLtd India.
Tej & Tara Lalvani
Tej Lalvani is COO at Vitabiotics, a global nutraceutical company that specializes in vitamin
and mineral based formulations focused in various health categories. In July 2013 Vitabiotics
became the largest vitamin company in UK by value sales. The company was founded in 1971
by Dr Kartar Lalvani and is now run by him and his son Tej Lalvani. Tara Lalvani is a dental
surgeon and a director at Brightstar Assets Ltd which is jointly owned by Tara and Tej Lalvani
