About Northern California MED Week 2016
Year round, our MBDA Business Centers in San Jose, San Francisco and Fresno help minority-owned businesses of all sizes, from a wide array of industries, identify and pursue national and international contracts, business opportunities and access to capital for their operation and expansion. Our efforts contribute to meeting MBDA’ s mandate from the U. S. Department of Commerce:
“ To build the wealth and capacity of minority-owned firms, in support of U. S. job growth”
Representatives from private- and public-sector firms and agencies recognize Minority Enterprise Development Week as the nation’ s premier event for minority entrepreneurs and business owners. As the operator of three of the state’ s five MBDA Business Centers, ASIAN, Inc. is proud to coordinate Northern California MED Week 2016.
Northern California MED Week 2015 brings together the MBE community, including trade organizations, financial institutions, federal agencies, corporations and non-profits geared towards job creation, economic expansion and export promotion. No other convening provides a more favorable environment to connect with some of the most exciting and innovative minds in California’ s minority business community. Northern California MED Week 2015 provides a platform for MBEs large and small to learn about growth strategies, while participating in mutually productive interactions with fellow business owners and procurement representatives from private firms and public agencies.
