As ASIAN Geographic marks its 27th year, we reflect with deep gratitude and renewed purpose on a journey shaped by storytelling, responsibility, and impact.

Climate change remains one of the most defining challenges of our time, particularly in Asia – a region rich in biodiversity, culture, and resilience, yet profoundly vulnerable to environmental change. At ASIAN Geographic, caring for the planet has never been a trend; it has been our commitment from the very beginning.

In this special edition, we are proud to celebrate 27 years of ASIAN Geographic by spotlighting Asian artists whose creative expressions translate climate change awareness into powerful visual narratives. Through our collaboration with Prestige Gallery, these artists use art as a universal language – one that transcends borders and speaks directly to the heart, inspiring reflection, dialogue, and action.

Our association with the International SeaKeepers Society Asia has been especially meaningful. Together, we share a common belief: that education, science, and community engagement are essential to safeguarding our oceans and marine ecosystems for future generations.

We are also honoured to feature compelling wildlife stories in collaboration with This Wild Earth, reminding us that the fate of wildlife is inseparable from our own – and that conservation begins with awareness.

For the past 27 years, ASIAN Geographic’ s green and blue issues – from climate, forests, wildlife, and oceans to sustainability and conservation – have always been at the forefront of our editorial mission. These themes are not chapters from our past; they remain central to our future.

As we move forward, ASIAN Geographic will continue to educate, inspire, and raise awareness on all green and blue matters— because the responsibility to protect our planet belongs to all of us.
