Zenterio OS puts all DT
services under one roof
Deutsche Telekom (DT) has launched
EntertainTV Sat, a 4K/Ultra HD (UHD)
IPTV, over-the-top (OTT) and satellite
set-top box (STB) powered by Zenterio
OS. The software is an independent
operating system for interactive TV that
unifies STB deployments in different
countries, from multiple vendors and
within various ecosystems. With Zenterio
OS content-centric architecture, DT is
able to introduce new client- and cloud-
based features and services, including OTT
video-on-demand (VoD), hybrid local/
network personal video recorder (PVR),
HTML5 apps, and other broadcast and
streaming innovations to its customers.
Digisat Media upgrades
to Forsway’s Odin F-50
Forsway has delivered its Odin F-50
hybrid satellite router to Digisat Media,
furthering its partnership with the
Spanish satellite services provider. As an
alternative to VSAT, Odin F-50 provides
rapid deployment of satellite-based
Internet services to regions that may lack
infrastructure or capacity. Candido Calero,
