home January with HBO and Cinemax
HONG KONG – Starting this month, HBO
and Cinemax will be bringing the action
straight into the living room of Asian viewers
with a slew of TV premieres.
These include Intersections, which tells
a story of a couple surviving a car crash on
their honeymoon in Morocco and an array
of survivors on a desert intersection. Starring
Roschdy Zem, Jamie Alexander and Frank
Grillo, Intersections will take audience on a
journey of deceit, revelation and death that
leads to a riveting conclusion in a Tangiers
souk.
Prepare to go deep undercover with CIA
recruit Ryan in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, as
he is caught in a dangerous web of intrigue
and espionage involving a shadowy govern-
ment agent, his unsuspecting fiancée and a
fearless Russian power broker. Chris Pine stars
as the titular character, alongside Kevin Cost-
ner, Keira Knightley and Kenneth Branagh.
Be merry with Drinking Buddies as co-
workers at a Chicago brewery, Luke and
Kate, spend their days drinking and flirting
when both are in a relationship. Directed by
Joe Swanberg, Drinking Buddies stars Olivia
n Nickelodeon
Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick and Ron
Livingstone.
These titles, and more, will air on HBO
