Cutting-edge AJA solutions on show
Digital media and broadcast product distributor VSYS is offering a number of cutting-edge broadcast technology solutions,
including products from AJA Video Systems
at booth 5A5-03.
These include the AJA RovoCam which
is said to be in high demand across the
sports, industrial, corporate, security, ProAV
and broadcast industries. The UltraHD/
HD compact block camera includes an
integrated HDBaseT interface supporting
uncompressed video, power, stereo audio
and RS-232 control over a single CAT 5e/6
cable at lengths of up to 100 metres.
AJA has earlier unveiled RovoControl
v1.0, a new application for controlling one
or multiple RovoCams.
RovoControl v1.0 features zoom, focus
and iris control; electronic PTZ to move a
1080p box around an UltraHD frame for
ROI Pan, Tilt and Zoom extraction for HD
workflows; the ability to change between
UltraHD and HD; and Windows, Mac OS X
and Linux support.
Another product is the AJA U-TAP HDMI
and U-TAP SDI USB that simplifies highquality HD/SD capture with a bus powered
USB 3.0 host interface. U-TAP HDMI captures
from HDMI sources (cameras, switchers or
