Have you been to Ban Chang? Have you been to Ban Chang, the golfers paradise, oh wait, hang on a minute, are we talking about playing with the same balls? Ban Chang is a small district heading towards Rayong. However, what Ban Chang it is most commonly known for, is Soi Tessabahn 25, known as the Ban Chang strip. This street is a mini version of Pattaya’ a Soi 6, in terms of the fact it has around thirty bars located either side of the road. Now don’ t get too excited, when we say Soi 6 it’ s more so you can picture a street with lots of bars, not bars crammed full of girls in outrageously sexy outfits all waiting to show you a good time. Ban Chang is a lot less out there, the bars are a lot quieter, but still have plenty of girls working. Last year Ban Chang was visited by the local authorities and a lot of the facilities upstairs were shut down. A lot of the bars you will need to go inside before the action hots up, as they won’ t play about outside in view of everyone. But hey, we all know when the doors close, what goes on behind the doors stays behind the doors! The nice thing about Ban Chang and the strip is the fact that you can quite easily hit every bar and still be in a reasonable state come the end of your bar crawl, so don’ t worry, you won’ t miss out on anything. GO PARTY AND ENJOY YOURSELF! If you are a day tripper, then head to bang Chang, it’ s only a 30/40 minute drive from Pattaya and a baht bus will take you there if you want to book one. There is also a very cheap hotel just before you get into the bar area on the left hand side as you come from Pattaya, can’ t remember the name but a room for the night is 400 baht.
