Resident of the Month,
Janet Baker
Janet Baker was born Aug. 1, 1951, in Long
Beach, Calif., to parents William and Josie (Tolles)
Ford. Janet has four sisters: Vicky Love of Arizona,
Carolyn Arnold of Mississippi, Marilyn Peltz of
Willard, Mo., and Jolene Lawson of Springfield,
Mo. (now deceased).
Janet has four children: Jay Baker of Kansas
City, Mo., Jackie Gott, James Baker, both of
Willard, Mo., and Jeffery Robertson of Tennessee.
Janet also has four grandchildren and one great-
grandchild, Kayden Washington of Springfield, Mo.
Janet worked, after high school, at Zenith in
Springfield, where her grandma Baker, father, and
Aunt all worked. Janet also worked at Dan’s Drug
Mart in Springfield, Mo. for 15 years.
Janet faithfully attended the Ash Grove Christian
Church where she taught children's Primary. She
was also involved with the youth activities and VBS
yearly.
Janet’s hobbies include: spending time with her
family, outdoor activities, gardening and lawn care,
going to the beach, parasailing and shopping. Janet
enjoys pop, classic rock and blues music. She trav-
eled to Florida, San Francisco, Alcatraz, Golden
Gate Bridge and Yosemite National Park. She loves
Volkswagen beetle cars and had a red one she
drove.
Congratulations, Janet, for being chosen as the

to AGHCF and its residents. The
