Resident of the Month , Sharon Human
Sharon Human was born July 29 , 1942 , in Wichita , Kanas . Sharon was the youngest of two girls . She has lived in Missouri since the 4th grade . During her childhood one of her favorite memories was the time she went back to Wichita , Kanas for 6 weeks and lived with her dad . During that time she enjoyed the company of her dad and his family while cooking and keeping house . She graduated high school in 1961 , from Morrisville . After high school she gave birth to her son Dwayne in 1962 and another son , Chuck in 1964 . Since the birth of her two sons , Sharon ’ s family has continued to grow , she is expecting a new great-grand son at the end of January making great-grandchild number 5 ( 3 girls and 2 boys ). She is very grateful for family epically when they give her a call or send thoughtful gifts .
Sharon worked in several factories , moving back and forth from Bolivar to Springfield .
While at AGHCF her favorite things to do are play Bingo , Bunco and other games . If there is any down time or she is unable to sleep she works on word searches , crossword puzzles , reads a good book or listens to music . Sharon will read any book you give her but her favorite genre of books to read are Mystery books , not the bloody kind but the kind that leave you on the edge of your seat ready to turn the page . This often leads her to finishing a book in just a day . The author that she likes to read the most is J . D Robb . As for music , her favorite type of music is soft rock anywhere from the 1950s to early 1980s , which she finds on the radio 98.7 The Dove .
Sharon ’ s advice is , " Give your troubles to the Lord and try your best to be a good person ".

Congratulations , Pam , on being chosen as Ash Grove Healthcare Facility ’ s January Employee of the Month . Pam was selected by her peers for her dedication to AGHCF and to our residents . The Employee of the Month for February has yet to be determined . The individual who is selected will be featured in the March edition of the Rocking Chair News .
