VTV.vn - Vietnam Television (VTV) officially opened another representative office in Los Angeles, California at a ceremony on April 23. The new office is expected to enhance coverage of the socioeconomic and cultural situation on the U.S. western coast, as well as in the overseas Vietnamese community in California, and thus contribute to stronger bilateral cooperation between the two nations. The Vietnamese General Consul in San Francisco, Hồ Xuân Sơn, noted the significance of the office's establishment, saying that it will serve as a bridge connecting Vietnam to the socio-economic and cultural hub of Los Angeles, as well as the entire West Coast of the U.S. This is VTV's 11th overseas press office, and now its third bureau in the U.S. The other two are located in Washington, D.C and New York City.
