Ingredients:
• 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) ground pork (chicken, duck, lamb,
beef may be used as substitute)
• 1-2 whole limes
• 3 tbsp. (1.5 oz.) Asian fish sauce
• 1 green onion, sliced
• 5 sprigs cilantro, coarsely chopped
• 1/4 tbsp. dried chili pepper, ground
• 1/4 cup shallots, thinly sliced
• 1 tbsp. (0.5 oz.) toasted rice powder
Tom Yum is the most popular Thai food both locally
and internationally. It is so popular that it is known as
Thailand’s national dish. It is also well known for its
medicinal properties credited to the combination of
kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass and galangal
