GET ON THE
ROAD FASTER
Travelers who have a CLEAR account
can now use it at certain Hertz locations
to get on the road faster. This partnership
is the first use of biometrics by a major car
rental company. Once CLEAR members
link their account to their Gold Plus
Rewards account, they can scan their
fingerprints or use facial recognition in
place of physical IDs to check out cars.
With the CLEAR option, Hertz Fast Lane
promises to get renters through the exit
gate in 30 seconds or less.
Hertz will introduce Hertz Fast Lane
powered by CLEAR at over 40 new
locations throughout 2019 including
Washington National Airport (DCA)
and San Jose International Airport
(SJC). Currently you can take advantage
of this new option at one of the
following locations:
