Happy December 2021 to the ASCE-NH Membership & supporters of the ASCE-NH Monthly Newsletter ! My name is Hugh Scott and I am proud to be serving as Past-President for the 2021- 22 Program Year .
In preparation for this month ’ s newsletter we are celebrating another successful “ Annual Engineers Day Conference ” and over the past four years this has been where my interest in participating with ASCE-NH has focused . I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve as the ASCE-NH Section President twice and I am looking forward to participating in a supporting role for years to come . We have a very active and talented Board of Directors who are doing great things and leading our Section in a very positive way !
I live in MA where I was born and raised and although I love what I do from a professional / career standpoint I am beyond blessed to be called “ Dad ” by my two children . My wife and I are focused on being present with our children and having great experiences wherever travels take us . The Holiday Season is always exciting with young children and we make the best of it trying new things and keeping traditions alive .
I am excited for the opportunities the engineering and construction industries continue to provide as we close out 2021 and look forward to 2022 . There is a lot of work to be done and the future is bright !
