SPEAKER ’ S BIO : Mr . Don LeBlanc , P . E ., is President of DLVEWS , Inc ., which is a company that is highly focused on maintenance and rehabilitation projects within its two main ‘ branches ’. The infrastructure rehabilitation branch of DLVEWS services a wide range of customers by providing solutions for culvert and sanitary piping issues , as well as stopping inflow and infiltration for manholes and piping . The earthwork solutions branch represents a full line of lightweight / low density cellular concrete and flowable fill solutions ; this allows DLVEWS to also service projects requiring poor soil remediation , retaining wall backfills , bridge approaches , and anywhere else a lightweight fill may be beneficial . Don ’ s expertise in these fields enable him to work with engineers and owners on upfront planning and design , while also being able to provide in-field / on-site assistance to contractors that are completing the work . DLVEWS prides itself on providing the best answers for failing infrastructure . Mr . LeBlanc holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and is a registered professional engineer . He has a passion for rehabilitating failing infrastructure throughout the country . Don is an active member of the culvert committee of the Transportation Research Board and an active Board Member of the ASCE- Maine Section .
