Mark Masluch Director, Communications and Public Affairs, Bombardier Business Aircraft What are your plans for ABACE2018? ABACE is an important stage for several reasons. In addition to uniting business jet operators, service providers and equipment manufacturers together for the common cause of underlining the growing importance of our sector to business and government leaders – it also provides a useful stage to meet with regulators, agencies and industry bodies that are so critical to the ongoing growth of our segment. Bombardier Business Aircraft will showcase four of its leading business jets at ABACE 2018. Making their debut at the show are the Global 7000 mock-up and the luxurious Premier cabin on board the Global 6000 business jet. Bombardier’ s Challenger 350 aircraft and Challenger 650 aircraft will also be on display, both of which lead in performance, comfort, reliability, and technology, and offer an exceptionally smooth and quiet ride. The best-selling Challenger 350 aircraft was the most delivered business jet of 2017. Tell us about the Global 7000. The Global 7000 aircraft will set the standard for a new category of large business jets. It is the first and only clean-sheet business jet with four living spaces, including the industry’ s largest and most well-appointed kitchen. Its advanced wing design offers not only a smooth flight, but also a steep approach capability and short field performance to get you closer to your final destination. The Global 7000 aircraft is on track for entry-into-service in the second half of this year. The fifth FTV successfully completed its maiden flight on January 30, 2018 and will validate flight and ground test data obtained to date and complete the Type Certification campaign to ensure a smooth entry-into-service.
