Pink Day at ASB
A
few
weeks
ago,
the
school
organized
a
“Pink
Day”.
Pink
Day
was
organized
in
order
to
raise
cancer
awareness
and
the
response
was
extremely
positive.
In
order
to
collaborate
with
this
cause,
the
whole
school
had
to
come
dressed
in
a
pink
outPit,
hence
the
name.
To
the
surprise
of
a
lot
of
people,
many
teachers
and
students
showed
up
on
Friday
wearing
something
pink.
Even
people
who
think
that
this
color
is
girly
and
childish,
wanted
to
participate
and
felt
very
proud
of
wearing
this
color.
On
top
of
that,
many
students
and
teachers
provided
great
donations
that
will
be
given
for
breast
cancer
research.
This
event
was
a
great
opportunity
to
show
that
the
school
is
a
great
community
that
is
able
to
show
that
they
can
come
together
for
a
good
cause.
On
top
of
that
it
showed
students
to
become
caring
for
their
community
and
rePlective
upon
the
important
issues
that
are
taking
place
in
the
world.
