Discern Thy Self
Lo! Thou handle the fragile hearts, so,
Assiduousness in you, keep afresh.
Thou aren’t an adjudicator to adjudge,
The right and wrong of the teenager.
Teachable is anything and trouble-free
For, Nativity formed in them the acumen.
Know thou the fact that thou aren’t a teacher,
Who, teach and fetch them grades and pluses.
You bestow in them the poise,
The dragon must of today’s globe.
You toss them in the air and
Watch them float and penetrate.
Soft skills you impart, lug them they say,
Not realizing the future benefit of those gems.
Thou shall never give up but, relinquish the mode.
Deviate and carry, nevertheless, do not tarry.
Update and uphold, modify and mould
Keep arrows that pierce the closed heart.
Read and cram everything you hear.
For, they too hear and quest you to clear
