HUNT FOR HAPPINESS

Psychologists define happiness as a state of comfort and ease, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. We know it when we feel it. Many of us believe that the purpose of our life is pursuing happiness. Learning to remain joyful throughout the day can even improve our overall mental functions. Now the question is, where do we find this happiness?

We often search the whole world without knowing that the gem is within us. When you were a child you were simply happy throughout so the source is within us. It was our nature. So the first clue in the hunt for happiness is dig deep inside you to bring out the joy that you have buried. The second clue is in your face. Start the day with a smile, because you woke up and that’s not a small thing. Remember there is no guarantee for our life. As you are alive now you can go for the next clue that’s within your family and friends. For so many people someone dear did not wake up and you are lucky that you have .True belongings springs love. Give them your time and they will give you the clue with which you can now move out and please don’t compare yourselves with others on the way. “ if I had that …my life will be wonderful!” Sorry, you are on the wrong way. Waiting for the next clue that is ‘purpose’ it is simply something that you offer others, either in your job or in your life and not about what you want. The key to purpose is using your strengths to serve others and in return they will give you immense pleasure. The hunt for happiness goes on from making changes in our behaviour , random act of kindness ,mind setting ,healthy self- concept etc. In a nutshell the hunt for happiness is simply making the best of everything that you already have and if you know it you win the game. Let us start the hunt from the beginning of the year.
