Resolution of the K arachav people
There is no alternative other than full rehabilitation for the Karachay people.
The RF law of 06.04.1991“ On the rehabilitation of oppressed peoples” today still remains unimplemcnted.
During the deportation of 1943 the Karachay people lost its citizenship( autonomy within the RF). All efforts to reinstate this autonomy have so far shown no result. The further existence of the Karachay people in the so-called Karachay-Cherkcssian Republic, that was created in 1957 against the will o f the people, heightens the tansion in ethnic relationships between the Karachay and Cherkessian peoples.
The Congres of Nationalities in Komarno understands the problems and interests of the Karachay people, supports the demands of the Demokratic Organisation of the Karachay People“ Dzhamagat”*( member organisation of FUEN) and asks the goverment, president and parliament of the RF to consider this issue with due attention and reinstate the autonomy of the Karachay people within 1943 borders( prior to deportation).

Борется за восстановлсние государственности карачаевского народа в соответствии с Законом“ О реабилитации репрессированных народов”. Народ без государственности не может сохранить свои права на родную землю, язык, культуру, самобытность, то есть не может сохраниться как этнос, обречен на ассимиляцию.
