read, and set about reading the script a second time and researching into the character! I decided I wanted to meet with the directors instead of self tape and so a month later I was called in to audition for them! The character was originally written as a blonde so I went and bought myself a blonde wig - I went all out for this role; I had decided it was MINE!!! Being that it was an indie and they are hard to get financing for, six months passed and I hadn't heard anything but could not seem to take my mind off the script - I had a bit of a crush! I stalked the directors to see if they had a Facebook I could potentially contact them through and one of them did. I would revisit his page every so often and contemplate sending a message but didn't want to come off desperate. Finally in early 2014 I built up the courage to send Nick a message confessing my love for the script, thinking, 'what's the worst that could happen?' I didn't get a reply because it went to his 'other' inbox. Meanwhile, they had been trying to get in contact with me, and a couple months later, by way of a mutual friend, David sent me an email. From there we set up a meeting and I met with David and Nick a week later. We all got fired up to make the project happen and the rest is history!! No Way to Live is a love story set in the 50's about an interracial couple who go on the run. I play a real southern belle type girl. Are there any aspects of having a higher public profile that you have found surprising, or any drawbacks that come with it, such as loss of privacy? How do you deal with issues like that? Ugh, I'm constantly hassled in supermarkets, I can't go anywhere without being hounded, people are always asking me for my autograph and selling them on eBay... Just kidding!! Every now and then I get recognized and it's really nice when I do, but for the most part, I'm enjoying my anonymity. What kind of roles would you like to play in future? I would love to work more in Australia. The Australian industry has a lot of potential and I'd love to be more a part of it. With regards to type, I'd say there's no specific type of role I would like to play. The joy for me as an actress is getting to play any and all types of characters. All I ask is that the script be great!! @FreyaTingley
