started by the LAF Chairman, President and many board members, who believed in our thoughts, goals and mission. Let us not forget also the individual art lovers, and many organizations who enjoy our events and contribute to make them a success.
The best thing ever, when you work with a group you like, is to feel appreciated. Receiving these awards was very special and meant a lot to me. It was a night that I will never forget. Seeing all my friends, family, artists, supporters and members of the community present just for me, to share this joy, was so incredible. I would like to thank the artists for their commitment all these years, thank the board and everyone who worked hard on this beautiful night, and for thinking of me as the first one to receive this award. At that time, I forgot all the hours I had committed to creating this group and keeping it growing, my communication with the office every day and its wonderful people, and finally the hours of stress before any event we did… I have to say that I enjoyed all of those moments, and I always feel that our art and culture should find their way to reach everyone’s heart.

In March 2012 you received a Special Recognition Award from the House of Lebanon and a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles for your dedication to the House of Lebanon, the Lebanese-American Community, and the City of Los Angeles. How did you feel to receive this award?
