Singers of all ethnicities, abilities, age and backgrounds stood side by side making beautiful harmony and building musical relationships that have certainly enhanced their journey and strengthened their resolve.
Music is the “Universal Language” for human kind. In music, harmony is governed by consonant and dissonant sounds which coexist and create a beautiful whole. We can truly learn from these elements that our existence can benefit from mirroring the beauty in music with all its parts harmoniously resonating together to create an aesthetic whole that enriches the lives of all who engage in its threads. It is the bridge of understanding through the road of harmony, that will help dissolve misconceptions and build channels of tolerance and understanding. You are a Professor at El Camino Community College, as well as a faculty member at California State University. How important is teaching in your life and career?
