share of film, television and stage. Her
guest starring role on Grimm aired
February 6, 2015. Nominated for a
Day Time Emmy for her role of Annie
Degeralamo on the soap Santa Barbara.
DUFFY EPSTEIN
(Ian)
Duffy Epstein is excited
to return to Portland
Playhouse, where he
was last seen as Ben
in After the Revolution
and Irvin in Ma
Rainey’s Black Bottom. Duffy has been
acting in Portland for over 25 years
and favorite roles include Saul in True
West at Profile Theater; Cash in The
Pain & The Itch at Third Rail (Drammy
Award); Howie in Rabbit Hole, Ziggy in
Sideman (Drammy Award), Dad/Boss/
Porpy in Lloyd’s Prayer at Artists Rep
and Matt in Talley’s Folly at Mt. Hood
Rep. Television credits include Grimm,
ER, West Wing, Providence and General
Hospital.

(The Woman)
After birthing two
babies, Nikki is
excited to be back
on stage with this
exceptional group of
artists. International:

JEAN-LUC BOUCHEROT
(The Man)
A French actor based
in Portland, he received
a classical education
at the Conservatoire
de les Alpes de Haute
Provence. He has
played “Oedipus”, “Orlando” in The
Frenzy of Orlando by Lariosto, and in
several Moliere masterpieces. Last July,
he was seen as Don Adriano de Armado
in Post5 Theatre’s production of Love’s
Labour’s Lost. He has worked in cinema,
television and radio in France and
Portland.
BRIAN WEAVER
(Director)
Over the past two decades, Brian has
examined the art of theatre through
many different lenses. He received his
MFA from Brandeis University in 2007
and has acted, directed, taught and
produced for a variety of companies
such as Shakespeare & Company, Idaho
Shakespeare Festival, Bridgework
Theatre Company, New World Players,
and Actors’ Theatre of Louisville. He
founded Portland Playhouse in 2008,
where he has directed productions of
Radio Golf, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,
Gem of the Ocean, Angels in America,
Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson,
Dying City, Detroit, The Light in the
Piazza, and bobrauschenbergamerica.
