CRISTI MILES (Director) is a native
Texan anglophile that has been obsessed
with British literature since she was in
high school. Her favorites include Jane
Austen, Shakespeare and obviously, Charles
Dickens. She has taught and directed
at numerous local and regional theaters
nationwide including The Berkshire
Theatre Festival and PETE where she is a
proud founding member.
JUSTIN JUDE CARROLL (Music Director)
is also a teacher and award-winning
singer-songwriter. Recently, Justin musicdirected Portland Playhouse’s 2013 A
Christmas Carol, winner of Drammy for
Best Production, and played Bandleader
in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. He
has performed as an orchestra guitarist
(CATS, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas),
singer-songwriter (Oregon’s Best SingerSongwriter 2007) and served as teacher
at Portland Jewish Academy, Spotlight
Musical Theater Academy, and his private
studio. He has two little kids and an
amazing wife whose love and support is
unwavering. He loves A Christmas Carol
because at heart it’s about an unhappy man
waking up to the fact that happiness is a
choice — and that giving makes us happiest
of all. Thanks for giving us the gift of
your attendance, and blessings to you this
holiday season.

Hedley II, lighting for The Missing Pieces
(both at Portland Playhouse), as well as
lighting for The Children’s Hour (Defunkt
Theatre), The Black Lizard (Imago),

Daniel Meeker). Other credits include:
Assistant Scenic Design and painting for
the Williamstown Theatre Festival (2004
