The Choir recruits members from both within the Keele University community and beyond. Despite the name, singers do not have to be connected with the University to join the choir! Their wide- ranging repertoire extends from the Renaissance, through Bach and Brahms, to Bob Chilcott and our very own Composer-in-Residence, Richard Norris. The format of concerts is varied: sometimes a cappella, sometimes with piano accompaniment and sometimes with professional orchestra and soloists. Tickets available: KBC Ticket line 01782 751018, Keele Box Office (telephone or online) and choir members. keelebachchoir.org.uk Recital Michael Bell and Karen Radcliffe: Un après-midi avec Claude Debussy. 5 December 1.15pm Keele University Chapel Free Entry To commemorate the centenary of Claude Debussy’ death in 1918, an afternoon in which some of the composer’s incomparable Mélodies and Oeuvres de Piano from the Fin de Siècle and early 20th century periods will be performed.
