The ANGLES-ECLIPSE joint exhibition will showcases paintings , photographs and installations by socially engaged artists who are affiliated with ANGLES and ECLIPSE , two global health research programmes led by Keele researchers .
ANGLES is an artistic engagement in global health residence scheme , with and for socially engaged artists around the globe who are committed to creative community engagement in health research . ANGLES is housed in Keele ’ s Institute for Global Health and runs in partnership with Arts Keele . ANGLES aims at exploiting the synergies between the arts , engagement and global health research .
ECLIPSE is a 4-year NIHR global health programme with the aim to improve the patient patient journey for people living with cutaneous leishmaniasis and empower communities to deal with the devastating effects of stigma that it causes .
The exhibition includes work by ANGLES resident artists Martine Vandevelde and Raiça Bomfim .
The ANGLES residency scheme is funded by Research England through QR Global Challenges Research Funding . ( GCRF ) the ECLIPSE project , funded by the UK ’ s National Institute for Health Research ( NIHR ) with UK Aid . The ANGLES-ECLIPSE exhibition is generously supported by Research England through QR GCRF funding and the NIHR Global Health programme
