MY WROCLAW
In this piece, I have tried to avoid too many references to existing and planned cultural
projects in Wroclaw. The level of funding for culture in our city has increased several
times over in recent years. When I took up the post of mayor of Wroclaw in 2003, I said
we would be building roads and cultural life. Today I would say: we will build culture
and roads leading to meetings between people, those from here and those from the
world over.
I invite everybody to come and meet with others�in Wroclaw, a European city of culture.
